MACIEV Consulting Ltd is a Canadian-based commercial advisory platform supporting power generation, energy infrastructure and commercially intensive operating environments across emerging and transitioning electricity markets.

We support generation companies, investors, off-takers and operating partners navigating regulatory complexity, contract governance obligations and commercial risk in developing power markets.

MACIEV's approach is built on direct, operator-side experience: structuring and administering power purchase and generation contracts across thermal and renewable assets, managing regulator and market-body relationships, and resolving commercial disputes within project-financed generation assets.

Victor Agboh

Founder & Head of Commercial

Victor brings direct, clause-level command of PPA, GSPA and GTA governance, commercial dispute resolution, and project-financed asset governance across a 16-lender syndicate. This expertise was built on Azura-Edo IPP, the first power generation project in Nigeria to secure guarantee support from the World Bank and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), with funding from the International Finance Corporation (IFC). He is a Chartered Accountant and PMP-certified project manager with a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from the University of Oxford, and is completing a Global Professional LLM (GPLLM) in Innovation, Law & Technology at the University of Toronto.
